Helpful Hint:
- This knob function comes standard with an interior emergency exit feature (Model # F51A). From the interior, if the knob is in the locked position, you do not have to unlock the lock prior to rotating the knob to exit. Once the knob is rotated to exit the lock automatically unlocks.

Mechanical & Finish Coverage: Both are covered for as long as the original purchaser occupies the home where the product was installed.
Electronics Coverage: Electronic components are covered for 1 year from purchase.
Authorized Seller Requirement: Warranty applies only to products purchased from Kwikset-authorized sellers (like Door Locks Direct); unauthorized purchases are not eligible.
Exclusions: No coverage for misuse, improper installation, chemical damage, commercial use, modifications, or mixing Kwikset with non-Kwikset trim; warranty is non-transferable.
Claims Process: Proof of purchase and defect description required; Kwikset may provide troubleshooting or replace the product and supplies a prepaid return label if a return is authorized.

Original User & Authorized Seller Requirement: Warranty applies only to the original residential user, is non-transferable, and requires purchase from a Schlage-authorized seller (like Door Locks Direct).
Exclusions: No coverage for labor, normal wear, improper installation, misuse, environmental damage, commercial/common-area use, or Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish changes.
Schlage Remedy: Upon inspection, Schlage may replace with new/remanufactured product or refund the purchase price; customer must return the product with proof of purchase.

Schlage Orbit knob keyed entry
No issues with ordering or fulfillment. We ordered 17 knobs keyed alike, one of the CSR's called to confirm because it seemed unusual. It was meaningful that they did that. I feel like Schlage quality has dipped a bit recently but no specific complaints.

Great Product & Sales Service
I ordered 3 each of the Schlage orbit keyed entries with matching B60 Deadbolts, all with satin nickel finishes. I also took advantage of standard offer to key everything alike which is one of the reasons I went with "Door Locks Direct". These locks were for my home and it has been several years since I have needed a change in locks. I was pleased to see that Schlage quality has not declined like so many other brand names products have. The first class manufacturing quality and finish are still very apparent. I also chose the Schlage dead bolt because I wanted the "Grade 1" security rating which is the highest rating for residential locks. "Door Locks Direct" prices were excellent, shipping was fast and they were quick to call me directly when I introduced some confusion via the notes in my order. I order online a lot thru a major well known retailer we all know. However their selection, prices, customization options, and customer service did not measure up for this purchase.
