- If you want a dummy lever on both sides of the door, you will need to order two of this item. For handed dummy levers order 1 Right Hand and 1 Left Hand.
- If your door has been pre-drilled with an 1-5/8" or 2-1/8" crossbore hole (standard hole size for functioning door hardware), a dummy function will not work. You can use a passage function without the latch. If you use a passage function, the hardware will not be rigid; it will rotate like a normal passage function.

Mechanical & Finish Coverage: Both are covered for as long as the original purchaser occupies the home where the product was installed.
Electronics Coverage: Electronic components are covered for 1 year from purchase.
Authorized Seller Requirement: Warranty applies only to products purchased from Kwikset-authorized sellers (like Door Locks Direct); unauthorized purchases are not eligible.
Exclusions: No coverage for misuse, improper installation, chemical damage, commercial use, modifications, or mixing Kwikset with non-Kwikset trim; warranty is non-transferable.
Claims Process: Proof of purchase and defect description required; Kwikset may provide troubleshooting or replace the product and supplies a prepaid return label if a return is authorized.

Nice Keyed Door Handles
I bought these Schlage LaSalle Lever Keyed Entry Door Handles to replace the old ones for a house I purchased. They were easy to install (make sure you install the bolt opposite to the handle first, then rotate the handle to install the bolt behind the handle). They are a little lightweight, but they are much sturdier than the ones I replaced. They do not have the panic unlock, but for the price I don't care. They install easily on a left or right handled door. I prefer a lever on my entry door, as sometimes my hands are full, and I can't grip a knob to turn it. These turn both up or down to open with ease.
