This added layer of protection ensures that valuables and family members are safe, and is ideal for garage entry doors, home offices, storage rooms and more. Some additional security and quality features include:
- Patented commercial grade clutching motor drive; tested to one million cylces
- Vandal resistant clutching lever design
- Code control; 6-digit programming code required to add and delete user codes
- Warning code sounds after four incorrect codes are entered; keypad disabled for 30 seconds.

Electronics Coverage: Electronic components are covered for 1 year from purchase.
Authorized Seller Requirement: Warranty applies only to products purchased from Kwikset-authorized sellers (like Door Locks Direct); unauthorized purchases are not eligible.
Exclusions: No coverage for misuse, improper installation, chemical damage, commercial use, modifications, or mixing Kwikset with non-Kwikset trim; warranty is non-transferable.
Claims Process: Proof of purchase and defect description required; Kwikset may provide troubleshooting or replace the product and supplies a prepaid return label if a return is authorized.
