B252 Series Double Cylinder Gatelatch Deadbolt

The Schlage B252 Deadbolt is a medium security, Grade 2, double cylinder, Gatelatch deadbolt.  This deadbolt is designed to be used on applications that require the bolt to operate like a deadlatch (when gate is pushed closed, latch will automatically retract and engage the strike, locking the gate with no further action required). No latch hold back feature.

Helpful Hint:

• The Double Cylinder Gatelatch deadbolts are typically used on metal gates with self closing hinges (pool access gates).  A double cylinder prevents someone from reaching through and opening the deadbolt from the inside.  If you choose a double cylinder, have a plan to exit in case of an emergency - you will need a key to exit.
