B252 Series Double Cylinder Gatelatch Deadbolt
The Schlage B252 Deadbolt is a medium security, Grade 2, double cylinder, Gatelatch deadbolt. This deadbolt is designed to be used on applications that require the bolt to operate like a deadlatch (when gate is pushed closed, latch will automatically retract and engage the strike, locking the gate with no further action required). No latch hold back feature.

- The Double Cylinder Gatelatch deadbolts are typically used on metal gates with self closing hinges (pool access gates). A double cylinder prevents someone from reaching through and opening the deadbolt from the inside. If you choose a double cylinder, have a plan to exit in case of an emergency - you will need a key to exit.

Electronics Coverage: Electronic components are covered for 1 year from purchase.
Authorized Seller Requirement: Warranty applies only to products purchased from Kwikset-authorized sellers (like Door Locks Direct); unauthorized purchases are not eligible.
Exclusions: No coverage for misuse, improper installation, chemical damage, commercial use, modifications, or mixing Kwikset with non-Kwikset trim; warranty is non-transferable.
Claims Process: Proof of purchase and defect description required; Kwikset may provide troubleshooting or replace the product and supplies a prepaid return label if a return is authorized.
