Helpful Hint:

Master keyed locks are designed so that two different keys will open the same lock. Ex. Apartment owner has a key that will open every unit in the complex and each tenant has a key that will only open their unit. Master pins allow you to create two "shear lines" wherby two different keys will open the same lock.
