Smart Key Re-key Kit

The Kwikset Smart Key Re-key Kit is designed to work with all Smart Key Locks.  This re-key kit contains four everyday keys (silver color) and two alternate keys (brass color) as well as a deluxe learn tool for re-keying smart key cylinders.  This is a great addition to any Smart Key lock as it will allow you to reprogram the locks to two additional sets of keys.  These are random cut keys and each kit will contain a different set of cut keys.  This is a very simple process (15 seconds) and you do not have to take the locks off of the door to reprogram.  These are factory cut orginal keys.

Helpful Hint:

  This re-key kit is designed for Smart Key Cylinders.  You can easily identify a Smart Key Cylinder by following these steps:
• Look at the exterior side of the key lock (side key goes in to lock and unlock)
• Look at the cylinder plug (part where you insert the key).  If there is a 1/8" hole to the bottom left of this cylinder plug, you do have a Smart Key Cylinder.
