Kwikset PK Balls
The Kwikset PK Balls are designed to be used when construction keying Kwikset pin and tumbler keyed products. Construction keying allows the builder to have a key that opens the locks during the construction phase. When the homeowner takes possession of the house and they use their key, these balls collect in a side chamber forever changing the combination and preventing the builder key from opening this lock. These are factory original PK balls.

Helpful Hint:
- Construction keying a Kwikset cylinder uses the same process as Master Keying. The only difference is that in one of the chambers that would use a #2 master pin, you would substitue 3 PK balls. The height of a PK ball is the same as a # 2 master pin - .046". Smart Key Cylinders can not be construction keyed.
