Helpful Hint: Double Cylinder deadbolts are typically used when there is glass within 3' of the door. A double cylinder prevents someone from breaking the glass and reaching through and opening the deadbolt from the inside. If you choose a double cylinder, have a plan to exit in case of an emergency - you will need a key to exit the house if the door is locked.

Great Product
This was exactly what I was looking to purchase. I tried to purchase this item in a local store but they did not have a double key lock. I needed this because I have windows on both sides of my door and if someone broke the window they would be able to open the door.
