Electronics Coverage: Electronic components are covered for 1 year from purchase.
Authorized Seller Requirement: Warranty applies only to products purchased from Kwikset-authorized sellers (like Door Locks Direct); unauthorized purchases are not eligible.
Exclusions: No coverage for misuse, improper installation, chemical damage, commercial use, modifications, or mixing Kwikset with non-Kwikset trim; warranty is non-transferable.
Claims Process: Proof of purchase and defect description required; Kwikset may provide troubleshooting or replace the product and supplies a prepaid return label if a return is authorized.

Perfect Solution to changing doors
Having a house with crooked doors, this is the perfect answer to doors that move around over time. It's easy to install and adjustable to help compress the door seal and align the closing without having to deal with moving the screws or modifying the wood frame and painting.

Good solution for doors that are slightly out of alignment.
If your house is like mine, it may have settled over the years. Doors could be out of whack a bit. These will help you.

Adequate But Fixed Lip Width Would Look Better
While the adjustable extended lip strike plate was adequate, a fixed width plate would look much much better. Kwikset should offer some fixed extended lip widths between the standard standard width and the full 1-3/4 inch width from screw center.
