works well, as described
this very necessary(door latches are usually loose) are very hard to find but this latch really secures the door.

Adequate But Fixed Lip Width Would Look Better
While the adjustable extended lip strike plate was adequate, a fixed width plate would look much much better. Kwikset should offer some fixed extended lip widths between the standard standard width and the full 1-3/4 inch width from screw center.

Adjusts precisely
Easy to adjust for a damn near perfect fit. Much easier than trying to measure exactly where the lip has to be placed. And the finish is excellent.

This was very easy to use.

Perfect Solution
Had a entrance door that wouldn't latch correctly unless you gave it a hard pull. Needed to move the strike plate 1/8" without plugging and drilling holes. Used a deburring tool in my drill to remove some wood to allow movement of the new plate. Used same screw holes to mount new plate. Door latching perfectly now with no effort. Easy fix. Thank you!
