Electronics Coverage: Electronic components are covered for 1 year from purchase.
Authorized Seller Requirement: Warranty applies only to products purchased from Kwikset-authorized sellers (like Door Locks Direct); unauthorized purchases are not eligible.
Exclusions: No coverage for misuse, improper installation, chemical damage, commercial use, modifications, or mixing Kwikset with non-Kwikset trim; warranty is non-transferable.
Claims Process: Proof of purchase and defect description required; Kwikset may provide troubleshooting or replace the product and supplies a prepaid return label if a return is authorized.

Easy to adjust for a damn near perfect fit. Much easier than trying to measure exactly where the lip has to be placed. And the finish is excellent.

Strike plate
My husband insisted the bathroom door closed fine; I said it kept popping open for me and it was embarrassing. He said it couldn’t be fixed. I found this item on the internet and installed it myself. I am 78 years old. It works beautifully. I am very happy and no longer embarrassed in the bathroom. Thank you! My husband has not admitted anything was wrong.
