Hardware and Installation
This is a three-set replacement for an existing Kwikset knob and deadbolt installation. Packaging is good and organized. Instructions are providing and understandable. Inspection of the parts was generally very good. The surface finish was free of cosmetic flaws. The internal shaft for the lock on the knob appears to be a white plastic and will probably be the first component to break. The internal shaft for the lock on the deadbolt is a metal tube rather than a metal blade that can twist out of shape, so this is a noticeable improvement. The knob and deadbolt fit into the existing locations and no modifications were needed. The knob feels very comfortable in-hand which is a significant plus. The key and locks work without concern. Overall, the hardware and installation feels solid, secure, and very good appearance. Would recommend this style and combo set.

Simple
Simple but exactly what I wanted. Worked out great! The directions were extremely helpful, although I wish they had directions for how to flip the bottom lock (found a good video on youtube).

Kwikset Lockset
I have replaced all of the locks in my home with Kwikset locks. They install quickly and last a long time. I'd recommend the Kwikset line for new or replacement use.
