• Keyed-Alike - All products will be keyed to the same key. When ordering multiple keyed-alike items we will include 4 keys total at no additional charge. Additional cut keys can be purchased using the extra key menu options on any included product.
• Keyed-Different - All products will be keyed differently (provided all locks ordered are keyed-different). Each lock uses a different key to lock/unlock. Two keys per lock will be provided; additional keys can be purchased using the extra key menu options.
• Keyed-Random - Each lock will be sent as it was keyed from the manufacturer. We will not do any keying with this option. Two keys per lock will be provided.
• Keyed-Alike Sets - If you want multiple sets of locks keyed alike, use these options to group the common sets among multiple product selections.
  • Example 1: You want the garage on a different key from the house. Choose Set 1 for all house key locks, and Set 2 for all garage key locks.
  • Example 2: You have a duplex. Specify all locks on one side to Set 1 and all locks on the other side to Set 2.
  • Example 3: You own vacation property which you also rent out. Choose Set 1 for closets you do not want the renter to access, and Set 2 for all locks the renter does need to access.
• Master Keyed - All products will operate on two separate key systems: The master key will open all included locks. The tenant key will only open the locks that were keyed to it. Designed for rentals where the owner has a master key that will open all locks on the property and the tenant would only have access to their unit. Call 866-755-LOCK (5625) for more information. • Builder Keyed - All products will operate on two separate key systems: The builder key will open the locks during construction. The homeowner key will open the locks after construction is complete. Once the homeowner key is used, the builder key will no longer work. Designed to provide security while the house is under construction. Call 866-755-LOCK (5625) for more information. • *Helpful Hint: Multiple Items with Different Keying - Each item’s keying option will apply only to that item and not affect other items with different keying selections.
  • Example 1: If you want one deadbolt plus one keyed lever with the same keying, choose “Keyed-Alike” for both. You will receive four keys that work both locks.
  • Example 2: If you want one deadbolt plus one keyed lever with the same keying, choose “Keyed-Alike” for both. If you also want an entry handleset with a different key, specify “Keyed-Different” for that one. You will receive 2 locks Keyed-Alike (with 4 keys included) and the remaining lock Keyed-Different (2 keys included).
  • Example 3: If you want one deadbolt plus one keyed lever with the same key, and one deadbolt plus one keyed lever with the same key as each other but a different key from the first pair, choose “Keyed-Alike Set 1” for each of the first two items and “Keyed-Alike Set 2 for each of the second two items. You will receive a total of eight keys - four for the first pair and four for the second pair.
